Building of Sociocultural Competence of Migrant Pupils in the Czech Environment

The thesis deals with the issue of integrating foreign pupils. Especially by creating socio- cultural competence in the Czech environment. It is primarily aimed at the primary school environment and second grade pupils. It consists of two parts. The theoretical section defines the concept of socio-cultural competence and puts it in a broader context. It also deals with a foreign pupil and the acquisition of a foreign language. Las, but not least, it represents a set of factors that are crucial to the acquisition of a foreign pupil's socio-cultural competence. The Common European Framework of Reference and its individual levels are also presented. A qualitative research investigation is described n the practical section. The aim of the investigation is to answer the main research question, namely: How is the socio-cultural competency of a foreign pupil in a Czech school created? A semi-structured interview method was chosen for research. Respondents were selected on the basis of defined criteria. Through their testimony, it was concluded that specific situations were to be taken into account when working with a foreign pupil. Speech therapy and young people with hearing impairment

This thesis is focused on young people with hearing impairment who are educated by oral auditory method at school for pupils with special educative needs, particularly at School for the Hearing Impaired. The theoretical part is especially oriented on the characteristics and specifics of the developmental period of adolescence which is a very important milestone at the transition from childhood to maturity. It is focused on the hearing impairment issue and it also observes the psychological aspects of the people with hearing impairment. Furthermore, it deals with communication competencies of people with hearing impairment with focusing on spoken words and speech therapy intervention. The aim of the scientific examination of this thesis is to bring closer and mediate the opinions and experience of the young people with hearing impairment who are educated by oral - auditory method on their own communication skills and abilities. In this part of work the students themselves express their communication competencies. This work contains authentic parts of testimonies and brings some interesting insights of students themselves. This is a little probe into the lives of the young people with hearing impairment through their experience.
Communication competency and its education of the children with special learning disorders in the lessons of Czech language and composition at secondary schools.

The topic of the diploma thesis belongs with its character to the field of didactics of Czech language at senior classes of basic schools and partly into the special pedagogy field. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with tuition of communication and composition education of pupils with special learning disorders in specialized classes at senior basic schools. I work with terms: key competencies, communication competencies, specific learning disorders. The main part of the thesis consists of research focused on survey of the conception of Czech language tuition and teachers´approach to key competencies, next creation of and testing of worksheets supporting communication and composition education in specialized classes based on critical thinking methods.
Pre-School Children Competencies Development by means of Marionettes

In its theoretical part the presented graduation thesis acquaints with general characteristics of communication. It leads to understanding of development of childern talking and it is focused on communication abilities. It terms possible problems of speech as well as whole communication. And it draws attention to specifics of the marionette theater and possibilities of its aplication in kindergartens. In the practical part the thesis deals with the research of children communication competency in the routine of kindergartens. The appendix of the thesis is the manual which includes some examples of specific applications of a marionette and thereby it offers several practical inventions.
